This combination filter/HME device reduces set-up time and minimizes dead space and weight on endotracheal tube and circuit while maximizing efficiency. The electrostatic hydrophobic membrane protects against cross contamination in adult anesthetized patients and respiratory care patients who require a breathing circuit. The hygroscopic membrane traps patient´s moisture, providing effective airway humidification while also helping to reduce the risk of colonization in breathing tubes and minimizing sampling line blockage. End tidal CO2 sampling port offers convenient access to airway gases. ISO standard 15mm and 22mm fitting connects with breathing system. Resistance to airflow is less than 5cm, which helps minimize the work of breathing. Dead space is 45mL. For single patient use. 50 filter/HME devices per box.
