Disposable Bacterial Filters for Gomco® Suction Machine, 3/Pk.The Gomco® high efficiency Hydrophobic Bacteria Filter is custom engineered to help prevent fluid and aerosol contamination of portable suction systems. This filter features a hydrophobic, microporous membrane which filters air with maximum efficiency while blocking the flow of aqueous fluids and aerosol contaminants. The Gomco® Bacteria Filter helps protect against suction pump contamination in the case of canister overflow as it helps to prevent the overflowFrom reaching the pump. This Hydrophobic Bacteria Filter provides excellent protection against bacteria for personnel who come in contact with the suction system. Filter efficiency is superb ? 99.97% D.O.P. retention (0.3 micron particles in air).The Gomco® Bacteria Filter can be used with virtually any portable suction system. It should be located in-line between the suction collection canister and the inlet to the pump housing. Barb to 1/8" NPT thread is installed in all applicable Gomco® suction pumps by simply screwing the threaded end into the vacuum and filter connection. Effective Filter Area: 7.3cm2.Size: 2.25"x1.75".
