Mepiform is a thin, flexible, silicone coated adhesive dressing, designed for the management of both old and new hypertophic and keloid scars, the most common types of scars.

     Mepiform visibly flattens, softens, and reduces size in red and raised hypertrophic scars and keloids resulting from surgery, accidents like cuts and burns, etc. It may be applied to all areas of the body, and cut to size or shape to fit your scar (please note: care should be taken that the dressing overlaps the area being treated on all sides by at least 1 cm). The dressing is waterproof and can be worn while showering or bathing, and can be reaplied for up to 7 days, or until the adherent properties of the dressing begin to fade. It also features a UV protection factor (UPF) of class 5 in order to protect the scar.

     For the safe and pain free removal of the dressing, Mepiform features Safetac Technology. Safetac technology is a patented soft silicone adhesive technology. Products with Safetac Technology are clinically proven to facilitate application to intact skin, but does not cause epidermal stripping or pain on removal.
