How Do Duoderm Signal Dressings Work?

Duoderm Signal Dressings absorb wound exudate and help facilitate the body's own healing process naturally.  These dressings are thin and friction-resistant. For this reason, they can be applied to areas that are normally hard to dress or are exposed to a lot of movement, like the elbows, heels, sacrum and buttocks.  Dressings will stay in place even with a lot of body movement.  They can also be used over top of other Convatec Duoderm dressings, like Duoderm CGF, to help hold the initial dressing in place.

No Need to Guess

The outer layer of the Duoderm Signal Dressing bears a visible green border.  When wound exudate reaches this border, dressing change is indicated.  There is no need to guess with the Duoderm Signal Dressing.

This outer layer is made from a polyurethane film.  This film helps to protect the wound from bacteria and viruses and also keeps water from penetrating the dressing.  You can wear the Duoderm Signal Dressing with confidence.
